Lush and generous in its mouth-filling texture but also precise and finessed, this is another Riesling that I just couldn't spit out—I swallowed it immediately. This Auslese represents the miracle of the finest Mosel Rieslings: it combines ripe, lush fruit with great finesse, structure and a salty-mineral purity that provides a mouthwatering finish. There is a certain phenolic grip in the finish that will make this an excellent wine to have with food in 10 or 15 years. Tasted in March 2019."
